Data Processing on this Website (Access Data)

Each time a JENOPTIK AG webpage is visited, access data are stored in a log file, the server log. The data record saved includes the following data:

• the volume of data transferred, the website from which the page request originated (IP address),
• the individual pages you visit on our website and
• the product and version information of the browser used (user agent) and the preferred language used.

These data do not enable JENOPTIK AG to personally identify visitors. We will not merge these data with other data sources. The stored data are evaluated for statistical purposes only. No data are transmitted to third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes. They are deleted following processing.

Wherever personal or business data (e-mail addresses, names, addresses, contact information) can be entered on our websites, users must provide prior express consent. The requirement for consent is clearly set out on the homepage. These data are treated confidentially and not transmitted to third parties. They are not in any way linked to access data.

Except for back office business purposes, JENOPTIK AG will not transmit your data to third parties. According to the principle of data economy, transmitted data are limited to the required minimum. Insofar as JENOPTIK AG is obliged legally or by court order to transmit your personal data, we will only disclose them to government institutions and authorities entitled to receive these data as specified by law.

Export and Processing of Data in Countries Outside the European Economic Area

The areas of interest you define may be stored and evaluated on the server of one of our subsidiaries or by contractors in countries outside the European Union. Should the country concerned not offer data protection to the acknowledged high level of the EU, we ensure the protection of your privacy and personal data in a recognized and appropriate way via contractual agreements (standard EU contractual clauses on data protection / membership in the “Safe Harbor” framework program negotiated by the European Commission and the US Department of Commerce).

JENOPTIK AG’s web pages use so-called cookies. These serve to make our websites more user-friendly, effective and safe. Cookies are small text files which are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. The majority of cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted when you leave our site. Cookies cause no damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Newsletter

To receive the newsletter advertised on our website, we require your e-mail address. On receipt of your e-mail address, we will send you a mail which we ask you to confirm. Following your confirmation, you will receive our newsletter regularly. Additional data are not collected. You can withdraw your consent to storage of your data and subscription to the newsletter at any time. In this case, your data will be deleted immediately.
