2-Component Injection Molding

­­During this process, different or differently colored plastics are manufactured and formed to complex parts in one process flow.

Using this technology, the advantages of plastic as a material can be used very well. Micro optical elements can easily be integrated into a complex mechanical module, thereby removing a costly assembly processes.

If the optic is molded first, the so called pre-molded part will be repositioned. This can be realized with the help of moving elements within the injection mold. We use this process very successfully for producing such optical components.
