Gauge head for outer diameters

The CR257N gauge head is used for applications of high precision on cylindrical parts with an interrupted or plain surface, like: splined shafts

- For measurement of the interrupted or plain external diameters
- Vibration absorption: Hydraulic
- Easy adjustment of diameter with a dovetail toothed rack
- Standard adjustment: Ø 6 to Ø 96 mm, extensible by special accessories
- Repeatability: 0.2 µm (plain diameter in standard condition)
- Repeatability: 0.5 µm (interrupted diameter)
- Linearity: 0.5 % over ± 400 µm
- Gauge arms engagement/disengagement (hydraulic or electric): 0 to 5 mm per
gauge arm
- Standard measuring force: 1.6 N per jaw
- Measuring head retraction slide, hydraulic or pneumatic (travel varies).
