direct implementation for ProgRes® microscope cameras
Besides our professional image capture software ProgRes® CapturePro (available as a StandAlone software suite as well as a Twain PlugIn) a large number of our ProgRes® microscope cameras are directly supported by a continuously increasing number of specialized image analysis software packages. And the benefits of such a direct (native) implementation are obvious.
For one thing you continue working with the same graphical user interface as the analysis software. There is no need to learn new icons, buttons or workflows.
For another thing such a specialized image analysis solution offers functionalities going far beyond what ProgRes® CapturePro wants to offer. This way the automation of your daily workflow will become mere child's play. By means of the native drivers you will be able to tap new worlds such as optimal coordination of motorized stages, filter wheel changes, programmable switch between different contrast methods and much more.
