Long measuring ranges, high repetition rates and most compact sensor dimensions are characteristic for the ELEM and DLEM laser rangefinder modules for defense & security applications, for example fire control or reconnaissance, weapon sights or future force warrior (IdZ) equipment. The laser rangefinder based solid state and diode laser sources operate in near infrared (NIR).

For small arms and combat simulation we provide laser transmitter, laser sensor and laser rangefinder technology for the the AGDUS duel simulation and laser training system.

Laser Rangefinder and Distance Sensors
for Industrial Automation

Fast, precise and reliable measurement of distance, position or speed are distinguising features for the LDM family of laser rangefinder and laser distance meters. The innovative laser sensors are of compact design and offer easy and versatile system integration due to multiple interfacing and parametrizing options. The laser rangefinder use the phase-comparison or time-of-flight principle to measure distances up to several hundred meters without thee need of reflectors.

The LIDAR ceilometers and optoelectronic snow depth sensors are based on laser rangefinder technology and measure meteorological paramenters such as cloud height, aerosol profiles or snow depth.
