The pneumatic measurement is a comparison measurement between the part to bechecked and a reference standard.
The Hommel-Etamic pneumatic principle isbased on the air pressure variation, proportional to the distance between thepart and measuring gauge.
This measuring principle provides a high resolution(0.01 µm) and excellent linearity response over the whole measuringrange.
This technology is used to perform static and dynamic measurements ofvarious types of types such as  cylinder block, cylinder head, connecting rod,crankshaft, piston, housing .
