Repetitive accuracy

The repetitive accuracy is noted on the company's or DKD calibrationcertificate. Therefore the repetitive accuracy is smaller than the (total)accuracy and is often a better description of the capacity of a standard or ameasuring device.


Measuring condiditons for the repetitive accuracy:

• same measuring device
• same standards
• same plan of measuring points
  
  

Measuring conditions for (total) accuracy:

• taking all known measuring techniques into account (contacting, optical,etc.)
• different plans of measuring points
• differences in case of circular comparison between state institutes
