JENOPTIK Defense, Inc. (JDI) provides a wide range of products, components and system solutions focusing on ground combat vehicles and reconnaissance instruments. Furthermore JDI is a specialist for thermagraphic cameras and infrared camera modules for various applications.

For decades we have been designing and manufacturing

As the US representative for the Jenoptik Defense & Civil Systems division JDI stands for excellence in mechanical, electronic as well as optical competencies. The Defense & Civil System division was formed from a number of companies, whose origins date back to the years 1895 (AEG) and 1846 (Zeiss) respectively.
