Intelligent solutions for automatic number plate recognition in traffic law enforcement
We provide automatic number plate recognition with all Jenoptik traffic law enforcement systems. These intelligent solutions simplify the processing of traffic violations and increase the number of penalties successfully imposed.
The automatic number plate recognition systems integrated into our traffic law enforcement systems allow versatile and client-specific applications such as
- comparison of number plates with a blacklist (i.e. for a wanted list)
- comparison of number plates with a white list (i.e. for access control)
- comparison of number plates for section control
Rapid results from our high-performance number plate recognition (ANPR) systems allow you for example, to capture a frontal picture with driver recognition for section speed control (point-to-point measurements).
Automatic number plate recognition as an independent solution
Number plate recognition with real-time matching. TraffiCapture (LINK) is a complete independent solution which allows real-time matching with search lists using number plate recognition. When used as a search system TraffiCapture compares recorded number plates with lists, for example of those of number plates (vehicles) reported stolen.
Automatic number plate recognition as a software component
Number plate recognition for the processing of traffic violations. As a software component of our TraffiDesk management system, automatic number plate recognition simplifies and accelerates the processing of traffic violation data. During the preparation of the data, the software automatically recognizes number plates. The number plates recommended by the system can then be visually compared with the evidence photo and confirmed via mouse click.
