Jenoptik Robot has set a new standard in traffic enforcement with the new compact SmartCamera IV. The latest system is a combination of two independent camera eyes and state-of-the-art digital ®Intel Atom technology. This provides the highest level of operational flexibility, great processing power and low power consumption.

Depending on the measurement technology used, the Robot SmartCamera IV is suitable for nearly every traffic situation: Speed or red light enforcement, or both simultaneously. The two integrated independent camera heads allow for the choice between increased dynamics, varying focal lengths or a combination of a high-definition image together with a video recording. It is also possible to use number plate recognition with database comparison and image recording or an image/live streaming mode in which one camera head is used for traffic enforcement and the other records violations.
