How is the selection procedure structured? In order to make a professional selection decision, we carefully check every application and gain an initial impression of your skills, qualifications and personality together with the relevant specialist department. We then require between four and six weeks’ time to evaluate the application.
If your application succeeds in arousing our interest, we will invite you to a personal interview. Here, we want to get to know you better and find out more about your motives, skills and targets. We want to find out what specialist knowledge you can bring to the selected position, your personal qualifications and why you are interested in this position and Jenoptik in particular. Of course, you are also free to direct any unanswered questions to us and find out more about our company, your future tasks and possibilities for development. The personal interview may be followed by further selection tools such as telephone interviews or an assessment center. However, this is dependent on the requirements of the respective position and the target group.
After we have obtained a comprehensive picture of the applicants in the personal interviews and, where necessary, in telephone interviews or at assessment centers, we select what we consider to be the most suitable candidate.
If your profile does not match the requirements of the position, you will be informed accordingly. You then have the option of saving your application in our applicant pool. In this way, we can let you know about vacant positions which match your profile at a later point in time. More information on this can be found by clicking speculative application.

The following data remain saved after deletion of the application: first name, last name, e-mail, position, history (documentation of application process), e-mails. Irrespective of this, you can delete your application from our system at any time yourself.
