We at JENOPTIK Traffic Solutions provide highly reliable systems for clients wishing to carry out both speed and red light enforcement. We offer solutions for speed measurement in combination with red light enforcement, using induction loop technology as well as non-invasive radar technology.
Non-invasive radar devices are used at measurement locations where interference with the road surface is not possible. Induction loops are used for the detection of violations at traffic-light controlled intersections.

Red light enforcement with induction loop technology
The TraffiStar SR520 with two induction loops is a system for speed and red light enforcement as well as for the exact identification of motorcycles, automobiles and trucks. As a system for combined speed and red light enforcement, TraffiStar SR520 can simultaneously monitor up to four lanes and deliver precise measurement results. The integrated digital Robot SmartCamera detects violations and can automatically take a second picture for evidence purposes.
Red light enforcement using non-invasive radar technology
The radar-based TraffiStar SR590 enforcement system can be used for simultaneous red light and speed enforcement. Using a single radar sensor with Robot 3D tracking technology, it allows the parallel monitoring of multiple traffic lanes and the assignment of a vehicle to the corresponding lane. The operation of the system requires no interference with the road surface.
