Solutions for fixed speed enforcement:
Fixed radar devices for speed enforcement
If road surface interference is not possible for the purpose of traffic enforcement or if speed measurements need to be carried out in inaccessible locations, fixed radar devices can be used. We offer devices using non-invasive radar technology for both speed measurement and red light enforcement.
Fixed piezo technology
Precise speed measurement across multiple lanes is made possible using the TraffiStar S540, our solution based on piezo technology. The sensors of this monitoring system are securely embedded in the road and guarantee precise measurements. The system identifies varying speed limits and classifies vehicles as automobiles or trucks.
Induction loops for speed enforcement
Enforcement systems based on induction loops are used at intersections and allow the detection of both speed offences and red light violations. The TraffiStar SR520 offers a state-of-the-art loop technology solution able to both record the violation and determine the class of vehicle.
Fixed point-to-point measurement
In order to monitor entire road sections, reliable technologies for road section monitoring are available. The point-to-point TraffiSection system calculates the average speed of vehicles over a designated road section, detecting offences and providing the corresponding data to carry out a reliable and comprehensive penalisation of traffic violation.
