Injection molding of grating structures in plastics, including the necessary optical finish is a core competency of Jenoptik. We can support you in development of polymer-specific applications for reflection and transmission lattices.

Our production portfolio covers plan lattices and spherical lattices with structural densities of up to 1000 lines/mm and structural depths from 10 to 400 nm. Sinus or conical structures are particularly suitable for molding.

Generally diffractive optics can replace all refractive optics, thus they are used for various applications. Also combinations of refractive and diffractive optics have gained importance.  Colors of aspheric lenses, for example, can easily be corrected with the help of diffraction gratings and antireflection can be achieved by nano-structured surfaces.
