15.12.2011 (Jena) In its meeting today the Supervisory Board of JENOPTIK AG appointed Rüdiger Andreas Günther as a full member of the Executive Board with effect from April 1, 2012. The appointment was made for a term of three years.
12.12.2011 (Berlin/Jena) The investment for the expansion, including new clean room technology and production equipment, is in the total sum of approx. 10 million euros. This will more than double the production capacities from 2013.

29.09.2011 (Jena/Wedel/Altenstadt) Contract for electric power supplies for the PATRIOT air defense missile system. The order is worth more than 10 million US dollars and will be completed in full in 2012.
21.09.2011 (Berlin/Jena) The Group is to invest around 10 million euros as the existing production facility has reached the limits of its capacity. From 2013 production capacities will be more than doubled.
16.09.2011 (Altenstadt) As the result of the high demand for the extremely reliable and efficient energy systems in the high output category range the production capacity at the Altenstadt location was notably expanded. Plant, equipment and production cycle reflect state-of-the-art manufacturing and environmental processes.

12.09.2011 (Jena) At the DSEi trade fair in London, Jenoptik’s Defense & Civil Systems division will showcase the new DLEM SR for the first time. It covers a measuring range of more than 1,500 meters with an accuracy of better than one meter and weighs less than 40 grams only.

10.03.2011 (Jena) The ceilometers of the Defense & Civil Systems division will be integrated into a large nationwide network outside Germany for the first time. The 14 ceilometers of the type “CHM 15k NIMBUS” will be delivered to Met Office, United Kingdom, in March 2011.

08.02.2011 (Jena) According to provisional calculations, sales in 2010 totaled approx.
510 million euros. The Group EBIT exceeded 55 million euros including one-off effects, with a pure operating result of approx. 32 million euros. The order intake increased by nearly 35 percent. Net debt was reduced to slightly less than 80 million euros.
