Jenoptik supports the TMBLV “Smiling saves lives” initiative to improve road safety.

16.05.2013 (Jena/Monheim) On May 16, 2013, Christian Carius, Minister for Building, Regional Development and Transport of the Free State of Thuringia, launched the state-wide campaign to improve road safety in local communities by using a speed display. Jenoptik CEO Dr. Michael Mertin symbolically handed over the first display to the minister.

Jenoptik remains on track in the 1st quarter 2013. Executive Board reaffirms its forecast for the current fiscal year 2013.

Jenoptik Boards propose to increase the dividend to 0.18 euros per share to the Annual General Meeting.

25.03.2013 (Jena) The Supervisory Board and Executive Board of JENOPTIK AG, Jena, will be proposing to the Annual General Meeting on June 4, 2013 the payment of a dividend of 0.18 euros per share out of the net profit of JENOPTIK AG and to carry forward the remaining amount.

Successful fiscal year 2012: Group EBIT increased by 11.4 percent; earnings after tax up 42.2 percent to new record level.

21.02.2013 (Jena) At this year’s Photonics West trade fair, Arun Chhabra and Erik Klaas won the entrepreneur competition with their fastCHECK™ 3D scanning system. Jenoptik was the lead sponsor of the event.

Jenoptik strengthens its role as a leading global provider of traffic safety technology.

31.01.2013 (Jena/Sydney) The Group is acquiring the Australian company DCD Systems and will in future be concentrating its entire Asia business within a holding company in Singapore.

Jenoptik again posts best fiscal year in the company’s more recent history.

29.01.2013 (Jena) According to provisional calculations the 2012 Group operating result rose by approx. 10 percent to more than 54 million euros. With an increase of more than 20 percent earnings before tax rose to more than 45 million euros. Sales increased to approx. 585 million euros. In 2013 we expect sales to show a small rise, a stable operative result and investments in growth.

New products at Photonics West 2013

21.01.2013 (Jena) Jenoptik has presented new products and advanced technologies in the fields of optics, lasers and infrared technology in San Francisco. Furthermore, the Group is the main sponsor of the SPIE Startup Challenge 2013 to support young entrepreneurs.

Jenoptik Defense & Civil Systems division receives development contract from US Marine Corps.

08.01.2013 (Jena / Jupiter) At the Jupiter location in Florida, Jenoptik is set to develop an observation and target acquisition system to the specific requirements of the United States Marine Corps (USMC). The contract has a value of 1.3 million US dollars.
