Intelligent probe satellites with 4 – 16 channels for the acquisition of analog and digital sensor data in the dimensional metrology.

The PS-family’s robust (IP54) probe satellites are optimized to fulfil the manifold requirements of dimensional metrology in offline benches and in metrology labs as well as in measuring machines.

Both satellites base on powerful 32-bit CPUs with real-time operating system and integrated data storage. High-precision amplifiers and transducers for a multitude of commercially available, tactile, pneumatic and other sensors, allow to perform simple static measurements as efficiently as complex, dynamic ones.
The connection between the probe satellites as well as to the measurement computer is realized with Ethernet technology. Due to the high bandwidth up to 255 Satellites and cable lengths up to 100 m are possible without performance losses.
The PS50 features 4 probe channels or / and 32 digital In/Out.
Measurements can be started by software or with a (foot-)switch.

The PS100 contain up to 16 channels, come in a high-quality metal case and are prepared for the use in machines. The sophisticated trigger technique allows dynamic measurements with up to 500 kHz data rate and time-synchronous (Dt < 0.1 µs) sampling of all connected satellites and probes.
