The topometer allows optical and tactile inspection of the structure and roughness of fi ne-machined
(e.g. honed) surfaces in cylinder bores. It allows complete identifi cation of surface characteristics such as honing angle, valley structure, blowhole size, residual turning valleys, and roughness of cylinder bores in development and production.
