Electrical Motor

The electrical motors of the Defense & Civil Systems division are operated in the aviation industry as well as in military and commercial vehicles.

The product portfolio of electrical drives covers asynchronous as well as synchronous working motors with a power range of 10kW up to 3MW. Advanced technologies are applied in our reluctance machines and permanent magnet motors. The switch reluctance motors are mainly operated in the aviation industry.

The drives have optimized efficiency and are designed particularly for operation in rugged environments such as in military missions. They can be specifically configured for operation in environments with high ambient temperatur, e.g. in combination with the combustion engine.

From Motor Components to Complete Systems

According to customer requirementes we deliver either motor components, that are needed to achieve a high integration level or the motor can be delivered as an individual subassembly. We also provide the corresponding power electronics, integrated in the motor casing if needed.
