Software & Data Processing

Jenoptik covers the whole processing chain from gathering the data with necessary hardware over processing the data up to the utilisable product with own software developments.

Projects also concentrate on the evaluation of sensor data, data processing and the production of geo-information and can include simulation, sensors of Jenoptik with integrated data-management and the combination of SAR and optical data.

From the existing technologies, the following focus applications have been derived:

• Observation platforms: VIS, IR imagers, laser range finder, GPS, goniometer, data link
• Satellite equipment & technology: AOCS sensors, on-board software & data processing, ground station hardware & software
• Multi-spectral imaging systems: spaceborne, airborne, terrestrial
• Image processing: Sensor fusion, target recognition, remote sensing, Geoinformation systems
