Inverter
The inverter is an integral part of a high-performance energy system and provides a secure and stable three-phase power supply system within the vehicle. It can also supply external consumers such as field hospitals or camps with three-phase/ alternating current.
Scope of Application
The inverter is an integral part high-performance energy system in military vehicles. The power source supplies various external consumers: standard 50/60Hz AC equipment or facilities such as field hospitals or camps - with three-phase-/ alternating current.
Features
- High power density
- Allows supply of multiple consumers (three-/one-phase)
- Isolated network with optional monitoring according to IEC standards
- CAN bus interface
The inverter power amplifier generates a regulated AC voltage (3-phases, 1-phase) from the onboard isolated DC network. An integrated filter system provides an output voltage according to current electrical standards.
The device supplies up to 100 kVA to three-phase current consumers. The inverter features asymmetric load capability which allows the supply of one-phase consumers with an output power of up to 20 kVA.
The three-phase AC output is designed as an IT network with optional insulation monitoring according to IEC 61557-8. In case of an electrical fault the main output of the DC network can be completely disconnected by a circuit breaker.
