GTdrive Control Units

The fully digitalized GTdrive® stabilization and control units contain the power amplifier, control for elevation and azimuth drive, all necessary monitoring functions as well as the communication interface to the vehicle system.

The power amplifiers transform the supply voltage of the carrier vehicle in three-phase systems for supply and control of the servo motors. Control of the elevation and azimuth drive generates control signals for the power amplifiers - depending on the incoming signals of the sensors.

Fully Digit­alized C­ontrol Units

­The drives are protected by the latest monitoring functions and realize safe deck clearance on the vehicle. The interfaces to the carrier vehicle system are provided by secure serial bus systems.

All stabilization and power electronics include an integrated test and diagnostic system for monitoring purposes and fault detection of the entire GTdrive® system.
