Solenoids are primarily designed as firing magnets for primary and secondary weapons in armored land vehicles.
Solenoids for Highest Demands
Due to the use of the latest manufacturing methods and high quality materials the high-performance DC solenoids of the SM series comply with the exceedingly high demands with regards to electrical, mechanical and climatic stress conditions in modern weapon systems.
Depending on magnet type and usage the different components perform the following
Functions:
- Fixing of the solenoid
- Integration of the components for electrical supply
- Return to original position
- Stroke limitation
- Integration of auxiliary switches
