On-board System Gensets

These compact gensets were developed for the on-board power supply of railway vehicles.

They are driven by high tech Diesel engines. Furthermore the gensets are actuated by a control cabinet, containing all necessary protection, operating and monitoring components including the electronic control unit.

Control cabinet, cooling unit and silencer are integrated into the genset according to customer specifications.

The gensets are designed according to UIC 566. Manufacturing and testing of the generators are done according to DIN EN 60349-1.­
