HOMMEL-ETAMIC opticline C500, C1023, AMV923, WMS1000
In the drive line for vehicles, gears are a technologically important component for successful products. Optimal power transfer, energy efficiency and comfort are some of the most important requirements. Different technologies such as standard, converter, and double coupling drives contribute toward a broad parts spectrum. Combined with ever-shorter product lifecycles, this allows more flexible metrology. For gear shafts, there are a number of measuring tasks in operational stages and in final inspection, ranging from dimension measuring and determining form, to position tolerances and geometry testing. Workers should be able to self-inspect and carry out measuring during production. The rough production environment and the tight micrometer tolerances set high demands for metrology. Simple operation, ruggedness, and long-term gauging component capability are essential.
HOMMEL opticline systems are used for solving tasks for measuring lengths, diameter, form and position
as well as checking geometry. With its optical non-contact sensors, intelligent software, and high-precision mechanics, the systems offer the highest level of flexibility in measurement cycles of seconds. Light to medium-weight gear shafts for cars or light HGV gears up to 500mm long and a diameter of 140mm can be measured by the HOMMEL opticline C510 or C514 equipment in all operating stages. The CA510 and CA514 devices have the same measuring capacities, but are also optimized for 100% inspection in the concatenation. Owing to its ideal user ergonomics, the HOMMEL opticline C1023 is the optimal solution as an SPC measuring station for medium-weight gear shafts of up to 1000mm in length, 230mm diameter and max. 75kg weight. The HOMMEL opticline AMV923 can be used in the 100% inspection for vertical and horizontal designs as a fully automatic solution. All current loading technologies are supported. The HOMMEL opticline WMS1000 systems can be used for heavy gear shafts of up to 1500mm in length, 320mm diameter and 120kg in weight as SPC measuring stations and in concatenation for the 100% inspection.
All systems offer the highest flexibility, making them ideal for the future of modern production. The systems are optimally equipped for long-term use in production. Their long-term gauging component capability and robustness are as unique as their excellent user-friendliness. The performance advantages in flexibility, suitability for production, and measuring speed have made the HOMMEL opticline systems the leading optical shaft measuring systems on the market.
Lengths and diameters can also be measured on unbroken contours; Measurements are rotation-angle specific or dynamic/rotary. Roundness, radial run-out, cylindricity, profile form grooves, radii, angles. Tolerances of a few micrometers depending on the operating stages
