Biaxial mirror drive for line-of-sight stabilization.

Scope of Application

Alignment, stabilization of line-of-sight/ sensor path of rays.

The primary function of the mirror drive is stabilizing the optical paths of day-sight-, thermal image cameras and laserrange finders. Aiming the mirror in elevation and azimuth can be done by commanded signals. The fire control system sends a differential signal to the LOF (Line of Fire) which is processed by the turret/ cupola system.
