21.05.2012 (Jena) Jenoptik´s Optical Systems division presents at Optatec 2012 optical systems and components from its Optics, Microoptics und Optoelectronic Systems business units. The company also shows new Hybrid-DLC-Coatings, CaF2 Microoptics and Anti-reflection coated polymer optics produced by innovative technologies.

The results included in equal shares both the 2011 operative and stock-exchange performance of the 115 biggest stock-listed German companies in comparison to 2010.
16.05.2012 (Jena) Jenoptik’s Optical Systems Division will be presenting its new product line of Hybrid-Diamond-Like-Carbon (DLC) coatings for multispectral use. Jenoptik´s technology launches a new technology generation of environmentally highly resistant optical coatings and components. It combines the superior toughness of protective DLC coatings with the versatility and multispectral functionality of High-End IR coatings.
15.05.2012 (Jena) The project team consisting of 16 members from different institutes and companies won the “Stifterverband science prize” for the development of a platform for ultra-short laser pulses. Jenoptik’s Lasers & Material Processing division has been an important partner in this joint research project.

26.03.2012 (Jena / Monheim) Jenoptik’s Traffic Solutions division presents its latest products and comprehensive approach for greater traffic safety at the Intertraffic trade fair in Amsterdam from March 27 to 30.
22.03.2012 (Jena) The Supervisory Board and the Executive Board of JENOPTIK AG, Jena, propose the Annual General Meeting on June 6, 2012 to use the net income of JENOPTIK AG to pay a dividend of 0.15 euros per share and to carry forward the remaining amount. In its meeting today (Thursday, March 22, 2012) the Supervisory Board agreed to the proposal of the Executive Board.
23.03.2012 (Jena) The Jenoptik Group posted a marked leap in earnings for fiscal year 2011. Sales increased by 13.5 percent to 543.3 million euros. Earnings after tax reached a record 34.1 million euros. Jenoptik shareholders are to be paid a dividend.
22.03.2012 (Jena/Berlin) The Ferdinand-Braun-Institute received the Transfer Prize 2012 for extraordinarily powerful diode lasers for materials processing. The institute closely cooperates with the Lasers & Material Processing division of Jenoptik.

08.02.2012 (Jena/Monheim) The Traffic Solutions division of the optoelectronics group will equip Malaysian streets with traffic safety systems. The contract also comprises comprehensive on-site services for a period of 5 years. Jenoptik will deliver and implement equipment and set up a complete operation for the enforcement system.

01.02.2012 (Jena) The 2011 group operating result increased to nearly 48 million according to first provisional calculations. This corresponds to a rise by more than 60 percent compared with 2010. Sales grew to approx. 540 million euros.

Jenoptik reported significant demand from clients, particularly for lasers and laser systems for industrial and medical fields as well as for integrated optical solutions.
