Chairman of the Supervisory Board of JENOPTIK AG resigns

The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of JENOPTIK AG, Matthias Wierlacher, has informed JENOPTIK AG that he will resign from his position as a member of the Supervisory Board and as its Chairman effective December 29, 2025. The Supervisory Board will elect a successor in the near term.

Matthias Wierlacher has been a member of the Supervisory Board of JENOPTIK AG since June 2012 and became its Chairman in 2015. Matthias Wierlacher has been Chairman of the Management Board of Thüringer Aufbaubank since February 2002. Thüringer Aufbaubank indirectly holds around 11 percent of the shares in JENOPTIK AG via Thüringer Industriebeteiligungs GmbH & Co. KG, making it the largest single shareholder.

The members of the Supervisory Board and the Executive Board would like to thank Matthias Wierlacher for his many years of dedicated and committed service on the Jenoptik Supervisory Board, including his support in focusing Jenoptik on relevant future markets and expanding the Group's technological expertise.
